We began the first 100 days of the Trump administration wondering what would become of the ACA or “Obamacare”. Our questions included:
- Would the AHCA be passed?
- How would the administration of medical benefits be impacted?
- What reporting would be required?
The Republican Party pulled the bill before the vote when they realized they didn’t have the votes to succeed in replacing the ACA. Today, we’re asking, “What now?”.
The ACA remains the law of the land and both individuals and organizations are expected to meet the requirements of this law. While we all hoped we’d be relieved of the required paperwork, this is not the case today. We advised our clients to continue providing the required reporting to the IRS and their employees ensuring compliance with the ACA.
To help us make sense of where we are at present, we called upon, USI (Understand Service Innovate), to share their insights as we all move forward. USI, a consulting and benefits broker serving small to medium size organizations, is one of the many collaborative partners KardasLarson works with to bring our clients the most current information in the areas of employee benefits, retirement, property & casualty and personal risk. We value their partnership and look to increased collaboration in the future. In fact, you’ll soon receive information about a seminar that we’ll be providing on May 24th.
USI recently conducted a webinar on this health care conundrum and we’re pleased to share with you the “on-demand” version of the webinar. You will receive specific direction on how to proceed with your current responsibilities and highlights of the potential changes that may occur even before a new bill is passed. You will have access to both the recording and visuals to help you gain further knowledge on this complex subject.
Simply click this link which will take you to the USI website to access the webinar. At KardasLarson, our goal is to provide you with just-in-time information to help you maximize your performance.
